I have been working with Zane for almost a year and half now and I believe he is one of the most knowledgeable and committed coaches I know. After attending one of his lifting workshops, I knew right then I wanted to work with him. As a personal trainer myself, I’d never had any face to face coaching, only online. I came to Zane with a goal of getting stronger and fixing some little niggles I had. To date, I am the strongest I have ever been and have achieved some decent lifts, but most importantly, I’m injury free! Zane has given me the push and guidance I needed to thrive as well as the knowledge to understand the principles of his training methods. My only regret is to have not started sooner!

Working with Zane from Unbroken Performance Nutrition over the last 9 months has truly changed my life. I have gone from fearing the gym and having no understanding of what I needed to do to reach my nutritional and weight loss/building muscle goals. Having seen his own personal results, I engaged Zane to help me reach my performance and fitness goals, but more specifically, to help with my recovery post hip replacement. Working with Zane has been incredible. As a coach myself, I had a solid understanding of nutrition and for most of my journey prioritised nutrition for fat loss however after working with Zane, he introduced me to really focusing on nutrition for performance, including prioritising carbohydrates and timing of carbohydrates for fuel performance. Along with a structured training program which really allowed me to get super strong in a short period of time AND feeling my body, I saw noticeable differences in my physique in such a short period of time compared to my previous efforts in the past. Zane is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition and strength training and I could not recommend him enough to anyone wanting to make real changes to their physique. Not to mention, he’s a great listener and understands the struggles that many women face when it comes to body image, woman’s cycle and all the fun things us women have to deal with 😜. I started with Zane 12 months post ACL reconstruction and through my meniscus tear and surgery. Didn't know my meniscus was torn and was having a lot of fear around training due to my knee locking. Zane supported me through every episode and modified my training around this. My rehab had fallen down due to moving interstate. Zane got me on the right track and has helped me improve all of my patterning allowing me to train pain free and most importantly fear free. Zane has also helped me with nutrition and I managed to lose 10kg whilst gaining strength and powerlifting. One of my goals in the 6-7 years I've been powerlifting is to compete and I'm about to do my first comp in about a month! Zane has taught me so much and I wouldn't be ticking this goal off, if it wasn't for him!

I've been training with Zane for some time after initially contacting him due to significant pain in my shoulder blade, which prevented me from training. We began with a thorough assessment, and in just about two weeks, I noticed a considerable improvement that allowed me to train with minimal pain. Over a few months, the pain mostly subsided, and I regained normal movement. However, I then began experiencing neck pain, which became a new challenge for my training routine. Zane skilfully adjusted our sessions to accommodate this issue and recommended an excellent physiotherapist who helped me tackle the problem effectively. Thanks to this tailored approach, I am now training with significantly less pain, and we are on a path to fully resolve my neck and shoulder issues by the end of the 2024 year. Zane’s coaching has been awesome. At first I was worried if this was the right approach but for me. As an overweight person I often have felt judged as being lazy and shamed by health and fitness professionals. I did not experience this with Zane. 5 months ago I didn’t think could benefit from having a coach. I’ve been training for years, know what I’m doing in the gym, and have a good understanding of nutrition, so I only really started talking to Zane to fix my deadlift form. After 5 minutes of talking to him I realised just how much I could learn from him. You are so much more than a PT. You have been the best investment I’ve made in myself & I can’t wait to see what we can do together when I get back next year!
